weaving the social fabric that regenerates us
Regenerating Paradise facilitates the social, cultural, collaborative, and regenerative aspects of the rebuild process.
Those of us affected by the Camp Fire through loss of our home, our town in the physical sense, and our community in the cultural and social sense understand the need for not only rebuilding the buildings but also re-weaving the social fabric of the town: re-connecting people, facilitating collaboration among organizations and projects, re-establishing cherished cultural icons as well as cultivating new entities. We also know the need for pooling and sharing our resources and energies.
Featured projects and activities acknowledge and facilitate the interdependence of the physical and social rebuilding of the community with that of the natural environment. We support and network all efforts to rebuild Paradise but focus especially on encouraging sustainable practices that, by encouraging that interdependence, will regenerate both the natural environment of Paradise and the community.
